"Just do as your told"

Films: Await Further Instructions (2018)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Civilized Area

Height/Weight: Indescribable

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: One of the most famous "Twilight Zone" episodes revolved around an entire town descending into a blind panic over what was perceived as a message from monsters, only for it to indeed be the case, but said monsters just had to wait for them to destroy themselves. This alien utilizes a similar tactic, except it's a bit more...blunt.

History: This unknown alien force came to a suburb in the UK to make its first move. Hacking into the TVs, it broadcasted messages basically telling everyone to stay home and await further instructions. Most did as they were told, falling headfirst into paranoia. For one particular family, the parade of increasingly ominous messages drove most of them to the brink of sanity. At least someone needs to be blamed, right?

Notable Kills: Its gas blows a woman up. Also, see Final Fate.

Final Fate: After driving the family up the wall, the alien makes its presence known by gassing the area, possessing some of the folks, and then leaving a baby as a survivor after vaporizing her mother's corpse while she was the womb. As it gains a new worshipper the easy way, it is shown that others of its kind are taking over the nearby houses...

Powers/Abilities: Hacking into the airwaves, possession, a very potent toxic gas, and extreme electrical powers.

Weakness: If no one in the room is corruptible, it will not have a means to take over.

Scariness Factor: 4.5-This mass of cables and evil perfectly demonstrates how blind obedience can lead to the death of freedom and life. Its messages go from mysterious to downright sacrilegious, and it can destroy all if it wants to. Sure, we've never seen how good an advanced weapon does against it, but would it be worth trying to find out?

Trivia: -The main family's last name is Milgram. This was also the title of one of the most famous psychological experiments, and a major Cold War relic at that.

-Another reference to experiments in how people react to authority is how the neighborhood has Stanford Street, named most likely after Stanford Prison's own experiments.
